He was extremely knowledgeable about health care plans and listened to what was important to our family and made suggestions. When I took exception to a portion of it, he inquired politely about my priorities to ensure my slightly different plan choice matched them, and respected my decision. From that point the application and enrollment process went smoothly. I recommend NBN Brokers, and think that if you talk to a couple other agents as I did, you will choose to do your business with them, also.

Recently, I became unemployed. With many phone calls, each time with a different person, and a downtown visit with the large insurance company of former employer, I could get continued coverage. The monthly cost for COBRA or another strategy would still cost 2/3rds of my unemployment benefits. More than halfway through the month, I found out, that the head office didn’t like the pre-typed dates in the forms I returned, and informed me that my family was not covered until next month. What I was told, could not happen. I had to tell my kids, “I have to pull you out of soccer.” “No sledding.”
In passing, I mentioned my dilemma to Todd. He instantly offered help, although he had to leave for an out-of-town Christmas trip that afternoon. Carefully explaining different options, he was more interested in solving my problem then pushing a product. He wanted to make sure I understood the options, the benefits, the costs, and the quality of each method. He helped me chose a plan that was right for my family. Then, he told me about what he could offer with Assurant Health. As busy as he was that day, he walked me through the application on-line, and the payment process.
Although we had to wait a few days more, we received confirmation that we would be covered January 1st, as Todd had explained. Since than, Assurant Health sent email correspondence with insurance cards quickly, a large packet in the mail explaining all the benefits of the plan we chose, and a person called to see if we received everything and understood it.
I appreciate the personal attention received from Todd. I know that if I have a question, I have an advocate to help with advice. You can’t get that from the “Blues.”
